A protector of many,
And not very many people understand how
learning brings us together
under one home, one house, one family.
They are the ones who encase our
brains in knowledge,
They show us how to grow and bring
our life to the edge
And when we jump they’ve already taught
us how to spread our wings.
They show us how to live with
others and live with notebooks under
our fingernails and pen ink in our skin
How to teach others,
How to learn from others,
How to make a mistake,
How to learn from mistakes.
It is a task few are willing to take on….
