Freshman Football Worth Every Minute

The very first few days of attending practices were rough, with the hot sun shining on our backs, and the sun reflecting off the sweat on foreheads from a distance. But with the help of the motivation from the coaches, anything can be accomplished. The coaches are Coach Patterson and Coach Levi. Coach Patterson is a writer and also a coach, he is also the wrestling coach for Sahuaro. The most important things you can learn from being on a team are discipline and respect. Being disciplined will help not only you, but the whole team as well by following the coaches’ directions  and seeing if the team can all work together to not mess around during practice.  Respect comes natural to most people, but some people have to work on being respectful.

The very first practice started on June 4th, 2016 at around 10 a.m. Practices are during the week (Monday- Friday) from  4:00-6:30 p.m  and on Saturdays from 9-10 a.m. It is fun attending practices and doing the drills and getting to know my teammates better every practice, to know who I am playing  with and to see who I am on a team with. One football player, Oscar Leon said, “Dedication and hard work will lead to success.” If you are interested in checking out the games going on, the Freshman Football schedule will be down here below.

Joining the Freshman Football team was probably one of the best choices I have made  There are many people you can make friends with, and when you guys go to school with each other, you get to hang out most of the time and  just to see them daily every day at practice.
