Attention all students – If you think you are in danger of having 10 or more absences in any one class, you must stop by the Attendance Office and pick up an appeal form. Due dates are coming quickly.

Congratulations to seniors Sam Kalberer and Brandon Pelton for winning the Sahuaro badminton tournament and thanks to all that came out to participate.
Track kids, please turn in your uniforms and warm ups to Mr. Rutherford in room 100.

We would like to congratulate our 2017-2018 National Honor Society Officers: President – Alanna Burke; Vice President – Omar Muniz-Vega; Secretary – Nathan Schafer; and Treasurer – Isabel Brown.

Students who wish to go to summer school for acceleration or credit recovery, the sign ups have begun. Our next sign up is Tuesday, May 30, from 3-6 pm in the Finance Office. There will be two sessions of Summer School offered; the first session runs from May 31-June 14, and the second from June 15-June 29. All classes are Monday-Friday from 8 am-2 pm. If you sign up for a High School Summer Experience class you need to know that daily attendance is required, if you are absent more than 1.5 days you will be withdrawn from school without a refund.

Senior Corner

Attention all seniors – if you had Ms. Erickson for Freshman English come to the time capsule opening today Monday, May 22 in room 127-129 after 5th period if you don’t have a 6th period class or immediately after school at 3:15.
Attention seniors: The University of Arizona has extended the application deadline to June 1, 2017. If you have not applied, you still have time! Seniors heading to Pima College, please apply for the Pima Scholarship online. Everyone is eligible to apply! Seven out of 10 students who apply receive scholarship money! And, for those seniors that do not have a direction after graduation, please come meet with Mrs. Weber-Lowrie, in the Career Center as soon as possible as there is a summer program through the Metropolitan Education Commission that you can attend.
Seniors – Please make sure you have taken care of all fines and fees on your account and also turned in all textbooks to the Finance Office by Tuesday, May 23rd. If you do not clear these fees or return your textbooks you will not be permitted to participate in the graduation ceremony.

BE SURE TO LOG ONTO PARCHMENT.COM AND PLACE YOUR ORDER TO THE COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED TO. PLEASE BE SURE TO PRESS “HOLD FOR FINAL”. YOUR FINAL TRANSCRIPTS WILL BE UPLOADED TO THE SCHOOL (S) THAT YOU CHOOSE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 9TH. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO ORDER YOUR FINAL TRANSCRIPTS SO DO IT RIGHT AWAY SENIORS….GOOD LUCK TO EACH ONE OF YOU IN YOUR EDUCATION!
