Sahuaro Thespians Take Disneyland

Over Rodeo Break, Advanced Theater went to Disneyland for two days. Santa Rita thespians joined Sahuaro on their trip.  They left Tuesday evening from Sahuaro and rode up to Anaheim over night. First time visitor, Manchester Bradley, a senior at Sahuaro said, “It was magic. I know it sounds cliché, but it was.”  When they arrived at Disneyland they ran into a huge problem. The checks that were for the tickets weren’t cleared and Disney wouldn’t give them their tickets. Eventually, once Disney realized the checks would clear, they gave the thespians their tickets. The problem with the tickets caused them to almost be late to the Disney Performing Arts Workshop.  They thankfully made it on time and took the workshop. “We had a short, but highly caffeinated, man. It felt like he had turned me into a better actress,” said Nora Thompson, a senior at Sahuaro. They had park hoppers for both days ,so after the workshop they went off on their own and enjoyed their Disneyland experience. Everyone was sad to return the following Friday because of how amazing their trip was.
