Q: What has been your best memory at Sahuaro?

A: Meeting my friends Alicia and Katie. I wouldn’t have gotten through this year without them. I transferred from UHS and didn’t really get along with anybody over there, so when I came here they took me in. This year I’ve had to deal with a bunch of stuff at home and I’m really thankful I had them for support!

Q: Name one of your favorite teachers at Sahuaro, and why?

A: Collingwood because he genuinely seems to care about my education, Becky because she’s just a great person, and Ms. Mooney because she’s really funny and nice.

Q: What are your plans after high school?

A: I’m gonna start out at the U of A and get my bachelor’s in physiology, and then head up to NAU for their physical therapy program.

Q: What are three fun facts about you?

A: I always try to be there for people because I know what it’s like to go through hell. I lost my dad and it made a huge impact on my life. It’s crazy how much one person can make a difference simply by listening, so if anybody ever needs to talk I always try to help.

I was bigger pretty much my whole life and it led to me being really self conscious and quiet. I wanted to wrestle and I knew you had to wear singlets and that was my main motivation to get in shape, so I didn’t feel even worse in the singlets.

Honestly I just like romantic stuff. I know dudes aren’t really supposed to care but all the cheesy love stories and romantic stuff I’m a real sucker for.

Q: What’s your life motto?

A: Don’t simp, pimp. Basically when life hits you, instead of sitting there and being sad about it, get up and do something with your life.

Q: What is your favorite hobby, and why?

A: I like going to the gym because it helps clear my mind and I can constantly push myself to be better than I was before.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 15 years?

A: Hopefully I’ll be a physical therapist and I’ll be married with a house and chilling with my family.
