Tina Le is a seventeen year old senior here at Sahuaro, and she is an artist in every sense of the word. Tina has been drawing since she was little, saying, “I’ve always enjoyed art since elementary school.” Tina explained that art is her passion and has been a really good way to express her ideas and emotions in a creative way, as she said she has never been good at expressing herself verbally. Following this statement, Tina said her ideal job is a starving artist on the streets. Despite this, her talent as an artist would place her as, at the very least, an artist in a home with a disposable income. Academically speaking, she is already way above any person that would end up on the streets as a result of art. As president of the Art Club and a student in AP Art, she shows her drive to be a successful artist and her willingness to devote her time to that craft. It’s always refreshing to know that talented people like Tina Le, while quiet, are always around Sahuaro. The student body appreciates students like her, and below are a few examples of art by Tina Le.

Tina was looking at Tribal tattoos, and wanted to create some of her own.
Dragonair from Pokémon
Lapis Lazuli from Steven Universe
Tina likes puffins, which was her inspiration for her drawing of these puffins
