The tale of the fictional Creepypasta character, The Slender Man, is back with spine chilling stories. Multiple calls and cases have circled around this tall, slender, yet, nicely dressed male with no face and his actions with children. One of the well known deals he makes is accepting a child sacrifice, and preferably stabbing them.

On May 30, 2014 two twelve-year-old girls, Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser, from Wisconsin lured their friend, Payton Leutner, into the woods and stabbed her exactly 19 times in order to make the Slender Man favor them. The attackers had planned out the entire night, but something went wrong. The victim was supposed to be brought out into the woods for a quick round of hide-and-seek, and then they would stab her. They told their victim to quiet down and that they would get help, but they left her at the scene. Thankfully, Payton was able to crawl away from her attackers and was then rescued by a passing cyclist. The victim was hospitalized for six days, being released and sent back to school after she recovered.

Three years later, Anissa Weier, 15, pleaded guilty for stabbing her friend but said that she was not responsible for the attack, and pleaded insanity. “I believed that if I didn’t go through with it, Slenderman would come and attack and kill myself, my friends, and my family,” Weier told the judge.  Anissa was diagnosed with schizophrenia and other mental disorders. The trial for Morgan Geyser will be held on October 9th, 2017.
