If you find yourself bored during the month of October with the hopes of spending your day in bed, then here is what will be streaming this month. Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon have a whole ton of new films to get you in the mood for the spooky season.

The Netflix’s hit series “Stranger Things” is streaming their second season this month! If you are in the mood for something a bit more scary, then search for “The Mist.” It is based on the 1980 Stephen King horror novella. If you’re not yet in the mood to be spooked and want a good laugh then “I Love You Man” is a great pick about a man who is on a search for a best-friend but it definitely puts some tension within his relationship.

If you prefer Hulu and want to watch an old school film that a lot of high schoolers can relate to then “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off ” is the move for you. In this film, you’ll explore the adventures that these high schoolers go on during the day they play hookey! Hulu brings “Freakish” back and is now streaming the second season with many more obstacles that the group of teens face while trying to rebel against the mutants that invade and take over their town.

The more recent streaming device “Amazon” can totally get you in the Sci-Fi zone with the film “Arrival” which is about a young professor that is recruited to interpret the language of aliens! Fear not, Amazon gets gory with the thriller “Blood Hunters,” story about a single mother that wakes up in a medical facility just to find out that everyone there is dead. To lighten up the mood a bit but still keeping it dark Amazon streams ” Ghost World” a pair of teens that are facing graduation and trying to decide what they really want. So this month, grab yourself a fluffy blanket and pick your favorite! Enjoy!
