Five Finger Death Punch Lawsuit Dispute
October 26, 2017
The fairly popular heavy metal band, Five Finger Death Punch, was stuck in a pickle for a painstaking 18 months with a lawsuit against their record label, Prospect Park. This was filed because the band did not want to be with their record label anymore and, wanted over a million dollars paying for damage. Five Finger Death Punch’s original contract held the band back from starting a new album until at least nine months passed between then and the release of Got Your Six, their newest album released in September, 2015 The band has moved on to Ride Records as the holder of their record label, and they are glad to announce the release of a few new songs in December and a new album in the upcoming spring. One the band’s guitarists, Jason Hook, mentioned, “There was sixteen songs completed,” he says, “Sitting at Prospect Park, ready to go… Everybody that’s heard the record so far thinks it’s our best record.”
Zoltan Bathony, another guitarist and one of the founding members said, “We are looking forward to the next phase in our recording career.”
