Rick and Morty Fans Gone Mad

Rick and Morty is an inappropriate cartoon located on Adult Swim, and at the moment, the cartoon has really hit some nerves. In the show, a special type of sauce from the movie “Mulan” is brought up multiple times. In the summer of 1998, McDonald’s made a special sauce to promote the movie “Mulan,” and the ingredients in the sauce were addictive to many customers.  McDonald’s stopped serving the sauce after the movie died down, but fans of Rick and Morty really want their sauce back.

Over 1000 people camped out in front of a McDonald’s and chanted, “We want sauce!” and this has occurred several times. Police had to force them away from the restaurant, which was making fans even more angry. People were lined up for hours to get a single serving of the Mulan sauce that McDonald’s had promised to make, but cops were shouting out through their police speakers and saying, “Return to your homes. They do not have the sauce.”

The creator of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland, seemed very embarrassed about how his fans handled the situation and he apologized for the inconvenience. Most fans are loyal to Justin, and they seemed to back down without an argument.

The fact of the matter is, Rick and Morty followers take their fandom just a little too seriously, but – being part of it – I can’t really say anything.
