Fellow Student Opens Fire in High School

Every students’ nightmare came alive in a small high school in New Mexico. It began as just another day at school when a fellow student opened fire on a crowd of students. 15 were injured and 2 were shot, on 12-7-17.

The school was in lock down, and the students were hiding under desks and inside of cabinets. They were in a hard lock down when the gunman opened fire inside of a few classrooms. For precautions, the school was then evacuated and people were put on buses and took to a local church.

Aztec High School was where the teens were shot. It is located in a small town with red brick buildings and a population of around 6,500 people. There were 900 students going to Aztec High School.

Our condolences go to families who lost children in the shooting and wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured in the shooting.
