Jackie Robinson Scholarship Award

Through its Mentoring and Leadership Development Program, the Jackie Robinson Foundation provides scholarships of up to $30,000 over four years to minority high school students showing leadership potential and demonstrating financial need to attend an accredited 4-year college or university of their choice. Leanna Dorworth Memorial Scholarship

Leanna Dorworth Memorial Scholarship is one of SME Education Foundations offered scholarships annually. The scholarship is offered to female students pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering programs. The awardee may use the funds for tuition, books or lab/course fees related to attaining a technical or engineering education.

Courageous Persuaders Scholarship

A high school scholarship competition unlike any other.  Enter your 30-second TV commercial about the dangers of underage drinking or texting while driving.  Middle school classrooms gauge the commercials persuasiveness and ultimately determine winners.

Levin Firm Scholarship

Purdue Alumni Award

Since 2005 the Purdue Alumni Club of Southern Arizona  has been offering a single one-year scholarship to a graduating senior from a high school in southern Arizona (Cochise, Graham, Pima, Pinal and Santa Cruz Counties) who is interested in attending Purdue University. For 2018-19, an amount of $2,000 is available, and may be used for one or more scholarships. We hope that a few of your students will want to consider Purdue. The application may be found and submitted through the Club’s website under the Scholarship tab.

13th Annual Hughes Federal Credit Union College Scholarship Program

This year, Hughes is awarding five $2,000 scholarships to Hughes members who are high school seniors that are entering college, university, or trade school in the fall. All students have to do is create a short video or essay, answering “How do you plan to manage your finances as a college student and how can Hughes help you do so?”

Alzheimer’s Foundation of America Scholarship

Each year, AFA holds a scholarship essay contest which asks students to describe how Alzheimer’s disease changed or impacted their lives. Whether they’ve had a loved one with the disease, volunteered or worked as a caretaker or are just passionate about the cause, the next generation of leaders in the fight against Alzheimer’s have a story tell. We want to hear it! All high school seniors who are US citizens or permanent residents and plan to enter a four year college/university in 2018 are invited to take part in the 2018 contest.
