Our Boys Varsity Track Team won the largest track meet in Southern Arizona, the 14th annual Mario Castro track meet at Sunnyside on March 29th. 25 teams from 4 Arizona divisions participated in the meet for both boys and girls. Skyler Devaughn, a sophomore, who ran the 800 meter and the 1600 meter races said of the meet that “It was pretty cool, we won,” and another sophomore, Adrian Beenken, who ran the 3200 meter race said, “It was an amazing experience, I got a personal record, 13 minutes and 27 seconds.”
