Congrats to Jacob Philips, Nikki Hacker, Danielle Jamieson, Ashley Bradford, Lauren Wedman, Madisyn Arechederra, Alec Nguyen, Alexis Tapia, Shay McNelly on your signing day!

Softball players, Danielle Jamieson is signing for softball at Embry Riddle and Lauren Wedman will be playing for Colorado Mesa University. Both agree that their most memorable Sahuaro sports moment was getting to play in the 5A Softball State Championship at the ASU Softball Stadium junior year. Both of their families inspired them the most because of their support and their confidence.

Nikki Hacker is signing for Golf at Pima Community College. One of her most memorable moments is traveling with her team and going to Prescott for Golf with really nice weather. When asked who inspires her the most, she replied, “My dad. He has been playing all his life and wants me to do well and get better. He is the only one that coached me for 90% of my life.”

Jacob Phillips is going to play baseball at Williston State College. What he loves the most about playing baseball is the concept of being a team. “I love seeing a group of guys coming together and being successful as a whole.” His family inspires him the most and he is the first person in his family to make it to college through athletics. His main goal is “to make my family proud and keep my promise to my grandpa to put his inheritance to good use.”

Lauren Wedman signed for softball at Colorado Mesa University. What she loves most about softball is getting to play with amazing girls who share the same love of the game as her. “My family inspires me the most to excel at softball because they all support me no matter what and have confidence in me.” Ashley Bradford also signed  at Colorado Mesa University.

Madisyn Arechederra signed for softball at Iowa Lakes Community College. Alec Nguyen signed for soccer at Pima Community College. Alexis Tapia and Shay McNelly signed for soccer at Pima Community College. Congrats to all of you and hope you have a splendid journey!
