Best Couple: Sean Leonard and Cassidy Ratzan

When and where did you meet your significant other?

Sean: I met her in 8th grade science. I accidentally made her angry the first time I met her.

Cassidy: I officially met Sean in my 8th grade science class. We sat next to each other for a little bit and then became close friends.

Who has the better hair? Eyes?

Sean: Cassidy has the better hair and eyes. Is she still standing behind me?

Cassidy: He definitely has the prettiest eyes I have ever seen. They’re like two shiny emeralds. I have pretty cool hair, but his hair is glamorous.

Do you have a nickname for the other? What is it?

Sean: Yes. I can’t tell you. My reputation would crumble.

Cassidy: I call him all of the sweet thing like babylove, honey, sweetie pie, etc. But our personal favorite is calling each other bean. He’s my precious bean of love.

Who wears the pants in the relationship?

Sean: Cassidy. Always.

Cassidy: I definitely wear the pants.

What relationship advice do you have for other high school couples?

Sean: If you ever have to emphasize “No, I’m not being—“, you probably are. Also a rotating movie night system is very important because some people don’t like Harrison Ford movies every week.

Cassidy: If you want a relationship to work, you absolutely need to communicate and be honest. Being in a relationship is part emotion, but it is also a choice. You have to work for it. You cannot just give up on each other. If something is bothering you, you tell them. Sean told me when we first had a disagreement that it should never be him and I against each other, but us against the problem. We are a team! Lastly, do not be with a person if you don’t feel the same way about them.
