On August 31st, Sahuaro beat Sabino 34 to 7 on their own turf! Izaiah Davis (running back/safety), Abrien Painter (running back/safety), and Izaiah Grigsby (quarterback) all scored touchdowns. Damian Wright, safety/wide receiver/punter, intercepted a pass from Sabino and also scored a touchdown. Cameron Williams, line backer/ half back, scored twice and was moved to offense from defense when one of our players got injured. Also, the two marching bands got together to play music after halftime. As said by senior and linebacker/tight end Max Lockwood, “Our senior class has beat Sabino every year with the exception of a coaching mistake during the JV game.”
