Band Gets New Dresses and Tuxes

Jaelen Whitehead, Fine Arts Co-Editor

Don’t you hate it when you have a concert and you can’t get or find your concert black clothes? That seems to be one of the worries that fine arts kids get before a concert. In band however, that is not an issue anymore.

Band got new tuxedos and dresses for the band kids to use at their concerts. They’re being kept in the band room and all bands can use them. Sophomore Summer Stratton, a concert band member says that the dresses are “pretty comfortable”and that they are only “used for concerts.”

This could be a step in the right direction for band, not that they’re doing bad. Now instead of buying concert clothes, they can just rent the clothes from band and return them at the end of the year.

If you want to see the beautiful concert attire for yourselves, make sure to go to the December 6th band concert where they will perform songs like October, An American Elegy, Africa: Ceremony, Song, Ritual, and more. The concert is also free so that’s another reason to go check it out!
