That’s right everybody. Obi-Wan Kenobi and the planet Geonosis has been added into Star Wars Battlefront 2 this week in the Geonosis update. Ever since the Clone Wars season was announced back in June, people have been waiting to play as the Jedi general. The game recently added Obi-Wan’s rival, General Grievous, into the game last month (who also received a legendary skin in this update).

From what I’ve played so far, Obi-Wan plays really well. He does have some bugs and glitches, most noticeably his emotes, but it’s not as buggy as General Grievous had been when he first released, which was fixed in this update. Players will be able to play the Geonosis map on Galactic Assault all day from November 28, 2018 to November 30, 2018. On November 30, players will only be able to play on the prequel era maps on Galactic Assault until December 2, 2018.

Both Obi-Wan and Geonosis are free to download for all new and current Battlefront 2 players. Obi-Wan himself cost 35,000 credits to unlock (or more if you get his emotes, skins, etc.). There are also new 212th attack battalion clone skins to get that cost 20,000 credits or 1,000 crystals (which is about $5 in real money). Let’s hope that this update keeps people interested in this game!
