Destroying the box office, just like they fight crime, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, has really taken over the cinemas.

The story follows a  teenage boy named Miles Morales who was bitten by a radioactive spider and after an unfortunate tragedy, decides to take on the role of Spider-Man to stop King Pen from tearing a hole in the universe. Unfortunately, he finds himself in a bigger mess than previously anticipated when five other Spider-personas arrive from other universes. Together they must stop King Pen as well as teach Miles what it really means to be Spider-Man.

The movie in its entirety has already taken huge steps towards bettering people’s perspective of the Spider-Man origins by including little comic strip themed introductions, including paying ode to the creatures of every character. The animation was vibrant and flashy but included a warning to those susceptible to flashing lights and who have epilepsy. In the opinion of a super Marvel fan, the movie was better than expected and earned its over 20 known awards including its Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture- Animation.
