You know you are getting older when you hear a certain tune or see a certain show and think “Oh that was like two years ago.” Then you realize that it was 10 years ago!!

1. Zoo Pals:

I remember being a little girl and every time my grandma went shopping, she would always get Zoo Pals. Zoo Pals are plates that have animal faces on them. As the theme song goes, “They make eating fun.”

2. Bobby Jack Outfits:

My whole wardrobe consisted of clothes from the collection Bobby Jack. I had the shirt the pants, and the shoes.

Yeah, that’s right, I was a cool kid.  Bobby Jack is a clothing brand featuring a monkey character of the same name. Bobby Jack was created by the illustrator, Han Lim Lee in 2001. The clothing brand was sold by clothing retailers such as JCPenneySears, and Macy’s.  The clothing and character became popular among children and teenagers because of its “snarky messages.”

3. Lip Smacker:

Do you remember every girl being obsessed with lip smackers? Literally, everyone had one. The first three flavors released were Strawberry, Green Apple, and Orange Chocolate and let’s be real here, we all had a Strawberry one at some point. In 1972 Bonne Bell introduced a flavored lip pomade called ‘Lip Smackers’ and since that first one was launched, the brand has created over 800 flavors.

4. Kim Impossible:

This is such a good show! I remember growing up wanting to be just like Kim Impossible. The series revolves around eponymous high school student Kim Possible, a teenager tasked with fighting crime on a regular basis while coping with everyday issues commonly associated with adolescence. Kim is aided by her best friend and clumsy sidekick Ron Stoppable, his pet naked mole rat Rufus, and 10-year-old computer genius Wade.

5. Squeeze Pops!!!

I loved squeeze pops. They were so delicious, especially the blue one! If you don’t know what one is, it is a

fruit flavored lollipop in liquid form. Squeeze Pop came in three flavors; Watermelon, Cherry, and Blue Raspberry.
