College is overrated! Who needs it? (Not really, you all should really strive to go to College/University. You can do it!) But maybe, if you’re feeling like College is just not for you, here are some great paying jobs you COULD have without a college degree.

  1. Postal-service mail carriers

Yes, surprisingly the first one on the list is a mail carrier. I’m sure as you all know what this job does. Sort and deliver mail by vehicle or on foot. This job requires absolutely no work experience and pays (2012): $56,490 yearly.

2. Boilermakers

Has anyone else never heard about this job? The job is basically in the title. You’ll assemble, install, and repair boilers, closed vats, and other large vessels or containers that hold liquids and gases. Median annual wage (2012) is $56,560. No work experience.

3. First-line supervisors of correctional officers

Directly supervise and coordinate activities of correctional officers and jailers. That’s what you’ll be doing if you think this is the one for you. The work experience you need is less than five years and the job openings will be up to 18,000 throughout 2022. Median annual wage (2012): $57,840.

4. Real-estate brokers

You know that woman or man who walks around with your mom and shows her things about a new house? Yeah, that is this person. This job oversees real-estate transactions including selling real estate or renting properties and arranging loans. The job also needs less than five years of experience. Median annual wage (2012): $58,350

5. First-line supervisors of construction trades and extraction workers

Love construction work? Like bossing people around? Directly supervise and coordinate activities of construction or extraction workers. Median annual wage (2012): $59,700. Work experience must be five years or more.

6. Gaming managers

Wanna spend all your day in a casino? Here you’ll get to plan, direct, or coordinate gaming operations in a casino. Median annual wage (2012): $65,220 and work experience for less than five years.

7. Farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural managers

Yes! This is the job I’d want! Any country-animal loving-nature fanatic-the only time I’ll ACTUALLY run is through an apple orchard-people out there? No?… Anyways farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural managers run establishments that produce crops, livestock, and dairy products. Work experience must be five years or more. Median annual wage (2012): $69,300.

8.  Commercial pilots

Should this really be a job for NO work experience?? This person has to fly and navigate airplanes or helicopters. You’re flying a plane. Flying. Well..somebody has to fly the planes I guess. The median annual wage of 2012 was $73,280 yearly,

9. Detectives and criminal investigators

Conduct investigations related to suspected violations of federal, state, or local laws to prevent or solve crimes. (Dun Dudun Dudun Inspector Gadget!) Median annual wage (2012): $74,300.
