Tiger Woods shows his worth once again.  After keeping up with the competition at Augusta National, Tiger Woods pulls of his 5th Masters win and his 15th Major win years after falling from grace. Tiger has not won a Major for 11 years nor a Masters for 14 years. The person with the Highest amount of Major wins goes by the name of Jack Nicklaus, and he only won 18 Majors in his career. Jack Nicklaus Tweeted on April 4, 2019 “A big well done, from me to @TigerWoods! I am so happy for him and for the game of golf. This is just fantastic!!!” Being only 43 years old and far from retirement, Tiger Woods is on a good track to beating Jack Nicklaus’s Record of 18 Major wins, and having the most recorded wins in a golf career.

Tiger Woods in the past few years has not been at the top of his game and has fallen from grace. He was arrested for driving under the influence, had an affair on his wife, and underwent 6 back surgeries. Winning a Major and showing the world that he has what it takes to win a major again surprised everyone who was watching. He is going in the right direction to be one of the best players to ever live… once again.

President Donald Trump awarded Tiger Woods with the  Medal of Freedom, which is the highest civilian award that you can receive. The Medal of Freedom recognizes individuals who have made “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.” Donald Trump Tweeted “I Spoke to @TigerWoods to congratulate him on the great victory he had in yesterday’s @TheMasters, & to inform him that because of his incredible Success & Comeback in Sports (Golf) and, more importantly, LIFE, I will be presenting him with the PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM!”
