In case you haven’t heard yet, a legend passed away this week after an 18-month battle with cancer. The great David Robert Jones, famously known professionally as David Bowie, died Sunday, January 10, 2016. Bowie died two days after his birthday at the age of 69. He was born in London, England and died in Manhattan, New York.

David Bowie had an amazing career; he was a musician, record producer, painter, and actor. He acted in several well-known movies such as, Labyrinth (1986), Zoolander (2001), and Arthur and the Invisibles (2007). But he was really known for his music.  Bowie wrote and sang his own songs, selling more than 130 million records.

Bowie’s top 5 songs are: “Space Oddity”, “Life on Mars”, “Changes”, “Heroes” and “Under Pressure”. He left behind a 22-year relationship with wife, Iman, and two children Duncan Jones (44) and Alexandria Zahra Jones (15).
