Kevin Hart, an actor and comedian we all probably know, was in a car crash at 12:45 a.m on Sunday, September 1st. He was on the mountainous Southern California roadways in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, which was his 40th birthday present for himself this year in July. He was in the the passenger seat of his car early Sunday morning and the driver was Jared Black. He lost control, veered off the road and rolled down an embankment.

The cops are still investigating this to see if speeding was the cause of this crash. As far as they know, Jared was not under the influence of alcohol. Jared and Kevin both have “major back injuries.” Kevin’s wife, Eniko Parrish, said he’s “going to be just fine.” 2 of the 3 people that were in the car got trapped, but Kevin got out and went to get medical attention. Kevin already had spinal surgery to fuse two fractures in his vertebrae. On September 11, Hart was released from the hospital and is now in a rehabilitation facility to undergo physical therapy.
