Since the Columbine school shooting, there has been 11 more mass shootings. John Cohen said that the Columbine school shooting inspired kids to subsequent shootings.

Virginia Tech University, April 16, 2007, 32 victims.

Nothern Illinois University, February 14, 2008, 5 victims.

Oikos University, April 2, 2012, 7 victims.

Sandy Hook Elementry, December 14, 2012, 26 victims.

Santa Monica College, June 7, 2013, 5 victims.

Marysville Pilchuck Highschool, October 24, 2014, 4 victims.

Umpqua Community College, October 1, 2015, 9 victims.

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, February 14, 2018, 17 victims.

Santa Fe High school, May 18, 2018, 10 victims.

This year alone, there have been 15 school shootings, with 74 since 2018. What makes these kids, even adults go to a school and just fire guns? Adults and teachers really need to crack down on the situation going on with the kids. Don’t let their feelings go, sit down and talk to them even if they don’t want to. More likely the kids would feel better after talking about their feelings. Some kids felt even more alone than ever after coming back from remote learning; a lot of people stopped talking to one another. It’s not hard to invite a new person into your life. Make most of it and let everyone around you enjoy life.
