The 2022-2023 Sahuaro yearbook is coming soon!!!  This year’s yearbook is looking better than ever.  With new and old faces in room 232, not only are they copying and pasting memories, they are making them too.  When asking students what the yearbook was looking like this year, senior Jessica Gosewisch was quick to say, “I think the yearbook this year is pretty cool, we have been working hard on it so far and it has a lot of cool designs. Plus, I believe it will be worth the wait.”  The yearbook start to finish usually takes 8-9 months to complete, but that doesn’t stop new yearbook teacher, Ms. Slade, from creating a mesmerizing yearbook.

I spoke with a few students from yearbook, starting with senior photographer Paul Aquino.  He enjoys taking pictures for the yearbook, “I am a photographer for the yearbook. I take pictures of school events, and my process is to look for a good position to capture the picture. I will take a few to capture the moment, and then I make sure 1 or even 3 of them are yearbook worthy.”   Paul explained, “I would say the hardest part of this class are the deadlines and making sure everyone approves and likes the pictures I take.”  Senior Photographer Tenaya Nunley finds taking pictures an art, “I took pictures of the art room and the project they were doing, and honestly it is so much fun, but it takes time to get the right picture.”  The Yearbook theme will be leaked sooner than later, so stay tuned and for Sahuaro’s 2022-2023 yearbook.
