Are you ready Resident Evil Fans? Capcom is releasing another remake, the beloved and fan-favorite Resident Evil 4.  Since its release on Game Cube on January 11, 2005, the game has come a long way. Traveling through newer consoles over the years, it has been the one game that has been brought back, and fans can’t get enough of it. Now the future is here and the remake is just right around the corner, so let’s see what’s in store for us.

A fan-favorite character agent, Leon Scott Kennedy, is tasked by the president to save his daughter Ashley Graham, who was kidnaped by a cult and brought to a local village in Spain. Leon assumes this would be an easy job, but as he arrives at the village and asks the local people, he notices that the village people are infected with some kind of virus as they attack him without any question or purpose. Leon will have to take many risks to trust the people who aren’t infected and use everything he has to fight his way through this nightmare to save Ashley. Leon will go through 3 areas within the game: the village, the castle, and the island, each with its own unique enemies and special treasures you can find and plunder.

The game has stunning visuals, lighting, and character models. Familiar faces return to this remake with newer looks and even more screen time, such as Luis Sera, Ada Wong, Ramon Salazar, and Leon’s ex-partner Krauser. On your play through, Leon will come across a merchant where you buy all sorts of things with your hard-earned pesetas, such as larger attache cases for more inventory space, healing items, new weapons, or you can upgrade your weapons. You can earn pesetas by defeating enemies or finding and combining treasures and then selling them to the merchant for a high price.

The Resident Evil 4 remake isn’t out yet, but you check out the trailer to see if you are interested. The game will release on March 24th, 2023, so set up your pre-orders and let’s wait for this masterpiece of a gem to release.
