“Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.”  Mother Teresa devoted her life to helping and healing many people. This included healing a Bengali woman, Monica Bersra, curing her stomach tumor. A Brazilian Engineer, Marcilio Andrino, says he was cured of a viral brain infection by Mother Teresa.  ”Heavy News” wrote, “Curación milagrosa de Marcílio Haddad Andrino fue el caso que lleva a Madre Teresa a la canonización” which translates to ”Miraculous cure of Marcílio Haddad Andrino was the case that makes Mother Teresa’s canonization.”

In December, Pope Francis decided that Mother Teresa would be declared a saint after recognizing a second miracle attributed to her, the healing of a Brazilian man with multiple brain tumors after loved ones prayed to her, the Italian Catholic bishops’ association’s official newspaper Avvenire reported to CNN News website.

After dedicating her life to healing the sick and the poorest of the poor, her own health deteriorated for several years.  She suffered from heart, lung and kidney problems, Mother Teresa died on September 5, 1997, at the age of 87. She was canonized by Pope Francis as Saint Teresa of Calcutta on September 4, 2016. She is famous for several quotes, including, “If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”
