It was a senior fest. Stickers, packets, and pens were given out on September 19th during 5th and 6th period at the Tri-State Fair. Mrs. Weber-Lowrie,  our college and career counselor at Sahuaro organized the event, which was held in the auxiliary gym.

Three different schools attended: Arizona State University, University of Arizona, and Northern Arizona University. AZ Transfer was also there and available to help students transfer their AP classes credits. All three schools had a power point presentation talking about the opportunities for each school. After the presentations were over, seniors had a chance to go to the tables and talk to the representatives from each school, one- on-one if they wanted to get more information or had any questions not included in the power point answered.

Whether a senior or not, it’s a good idea if you decide as soon as possible which college you will want to attend after high school. This way you can start meeting the requirements.
