Marley Gandee, Associative Editor-In-Chief
Marley Gandee is a sophomore here at Sahuaro High School. This is her second year in the Paper Cut, and she loves to write articles. She also enjoys running cross country and track. She runs on a daily basis, (besides at least one off day) because it allows her to relieve her stress, and make new friends. She loves her dog, Amilea, and her family's new kitten, Clif. Currently, she enjoys listening to country music, but it changes quite often. Another pastime of hers is watching T.V., such as Modern Family, the Resident, Transplant, the Good Doctor, and Chicago Fire. During her eighth grade year, she won the middle school science fair, the district science fair, her category in State, and went on to Nationals. However due to COVID, she was unable to actually participate in-person. It was all online.
As for the future, Marley isn't one hundred percent on what she wants to do yet. She knows she wants to follow in her grandfather's footsteps and go to Washington State University. Currently, she is looking into medical school and going into internal medicine. If the opportunity were to present itself, she would love to run either track or cross country for WSU. Either way, WSU is where she wants to be.
