The Theatre Arts Advanced and Intermediate students competed in the Southern Arizona Acting Festival January 22-23, held at the University of Arizona. Sahuaro’s Advanced class rocked the stage, receiving “superior” ratings for their one-act play.  The thespians have been invited to attend the Arizona State one-act festival February 13th.  Mandy Worrell and Tyler Petri also received a “superior” rating for their duo-scene.  In addition, Conner Jones and Joe James-Eisenberg received an “excellent” for their duo scene, as did Abby Woods and Taylor Reynolds.  Aspen Waters received an “excellent” for her monologue.  The festival was highly successful for our Sahuaro thespians this year!
