What to hang out with your family and friends but don’t know what to do? Well, I’m here to tell you things that you can do in the month of February.

1.) Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase

This event is a market place and a “world-class collections of gemstones, minerals, fossils, beads, crystals, jewelry, supplies, apparel and more.” The original Tucson Gem and Mineral Show has been up since 1955 and showcases 40+ shows at other locations mainly downtown/midtown Tucson. It starts February 2-17, 2019 at the Central Tucson District.

2.) GALentine’s Brunch

Go sit down, relax and have a bite to eat with your favorite gal pal at GALentine’s Brunch. They serve Caribbean brunch so if you want to go have a good time it starts on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at 12pm-4pm. Desert Island Eatery 2513 N Campbell

3.) 1000 Lights Water Lantern Festival

On the 23rd of February at 4pm-8pm, there is going to be a Lights Water Lantern Festival at Kennedy Lake where you can live a beautiful moment by lighting the “water with thousands of floating water lanterns.” There will be food trucks, live entertainment, and activities for kids. Tickets for the event are up to $45.

4.) Ace of Escape

Ace of Escape is a new escape room that just opened in Tucson not that long ago. It has 7 rooms where groups of two or more (up to eight people) are locked in a room and have to find their way out by solving clues and riddles to find the key to escape in one hour.

5.) Tucson’s Rodeo

Why not go to the rodeo that happens every year? It’s full of bull riding, bareback and saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team, and tie-down. It starts on the 16th of February and ends on the 24th at Tucson Rodeo Grounds.
