Fuddruckers Closes Its Doors Permanently

Jaelen Whitehead, Reporter

You heard that right, Fuddruckers, one of the most famous burger places in Tucson closed its doors on August 8, 2018 at 3 P.M. This restaurant has been around for 30 plus years and is loved by many. It’s a shame that this restaurant was one of many restaurants to close its doors because of the overcrowded burger market in Tucson. Honestly, I feel like it should’ve been one of the restaurants still open. It’s been around for a long time and its food was really good. Plus, I will miss being able to go to the mini arcade they had while I waited for my food.

I remember all the times I went there to eat with my family and friends when it was still in business. I have so many great memories about that particular restaurant. I would always play at the little arcade area with my sister while we waited for our food. There are other Tucson residents who are sad about this news. Katelyn Wincek, a teenager from Tucson, says, “It makes me feel sad. I always went there when I was little.” All I got to say now is thank you Fuddruckers for serving the people of Tucson your great food. Your food will be missed by some of the locals here in Tucson.
