  • When it comes to me and music, I am always listening to it. If you see me in school, or at home, I normally have my headphones in. Music helps me concentrate, even though some people prefer a quiet atmosphere. I love lots of different genres of music such as RnB, Rap, etc. I also have a vinyl collection that will hopefully grow in the future.

  • Ever since I was young, I have loved playing sports. I have had an ambition to play volleyball since 6th grade. I still play volleyball in high school and started doing club volleyball in freshman year. Volleyball makes me happy because I like being competitive while doing something I am good at.

  • One of my favorite things to do is eat food. Eating food with others is one of my love languages as the best talks and bonds start while sitting down and sharing a meal.

  • Sunsets are such a beautiful thing to see. Since I was young, I have enjoyed just looking at the sky, noticing how the stars align with each other, or how the sunrise looks in the morning. Sunsets especially hold a beautiful place in my heart. To many, it represents passed on relatives and how they make the sky look beautiful.

  • Clothes are also a good way for me to express myself and my personality. Making different outfits I like on myself gives me a certain boost of confidence I might not have had before. It is also fun being able to buy things and envision something on myself and it looks way better than I thought it would.

  • My stuffed animals represent a lot to me. They represent memories I had as a kid. My dad normally gets me a stuffed animal for every holiday, including Valentine’s Day, Christmas, etc. The memories each stuffed animal has for me make me really happy.

  • Doing my hair is something I love to do in my free time. Doing my hair in general makes me happy because I feel like it represents art. It shows how I can do different styles – whether it’s braids, or having my hair out. I love my hair even if it has a lot of maintenance to it.

  • Traveling is usually enjoyable for everyone involved. I love traveling, and I do it often to see my family out of state. I go to New York and everything is always so beautiful. especially all the nature and different things you would not be able to have in Tucson. Traveling around other places as well is definitely on my bucket list of things to do when I get older.

  • My room is my own ‘happy place.’ There is nothing like the attachment a teenage girl has to her room. I can make my room my own place and decorate it how I want. I am able to make any visions I have for my room. Since I am in my room often, I like having it be my sanctuary.

  • Playing video games is a good way to pass the time, rather than being stuck on my phone for hours. I am personally not particularly good at video games, but they are still fun to play. They are both entertaining and help with getting to know different people because you play online with other people.
