Hello Cougars, 

We hope that you had a fantastic weekend and have a wonderful week ahead. As we are wrapping up Spring Sports, the following is what is coming up for this week. 

  Girls Basketball will host an open gym TODAY from 2:30-3:30 in the auxiliary gym. If you are interested in basketball, come out and hoop with us.  

 Track and Field will be traveling to Deer Valley High School for the Track and Field Divisional meet on Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th. Best of luck to them.  

  Book club is currently hosting their annual book drive from now, until May 2nd. Please donate high school-level books to the box in your English classroom. The class period that donated the most books will win donuts. 

 Attention Cougars: If you would like to play football next school year, spring practice begins on Monday April 29. We will meet in the AUX gym at 3:30, and practice is from 4:30-6:30. If you plan to play in the 2024-2025 Fall Season you MUST attend spring practices! 

Please join Unified in Color and our Fine Arts Department this Friday, May 10th during first lunch for performances celebrating the diversity of our incredible Sahuaro Community! We will be announcing the Culture King and Queen of Spirit Week, so be sure to dress out on Friday in support of your own unique cultural heritage!! Check out the hallways for the Culture Spirit Week Daily Dressout for Dviersity breakdown: Monday wear Red or Yellow for Asian Culture, Tuesday wear Tan/Orange for Native American Culture, Wednesday wear Black or Purple for African American Culture, Thursday wear White or Green for Latinx Culture, and Friday dress out in your own cultural attire! 

 Students! We are hosting our annual Spring Fling Carnival this Friday from 5-8 on the football field! Wristband entry is only $5 and can be purchased through the finance office.  We will have inflatables, music, food trucks, and more!
