Hey Cougars! Do you want something a little more thrilling to do after school than couch surf or hanging out at McDonald’s? There are so many clubs to choose from this year and they want YOU to become a member. Here are just some of the available clubs and how to join them:

Art Club – Has it always been your dream to become an artist? Come further your talents and skills on Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mr. Long’s room (302).

Young Authors Club – Do you love writing? Or do you just have a lot of ideas that you want to put on paper? All levels and genres of writers are welcome on Mondays from 3:20 to 4:15 in Mrs. Miller’s room (315).

Interact Club – Help better your community and the people around you by joining Interact Club. You will be volunteering and participating in Service Saturdays. Come join Tuesdays in Mr. Wells’ room (327). Meetings never run past 4:00 if time is an issue.

Crew Club – Get involved with your school! You can participate in all of the games and graduation; anything that involves production. Join Wednesdays right after school in the finance office.

Guitar Club – Looking to become the next Jimi Hendrix? Check out the auditorium every other Thursday from 8:00 to 8:40.

Orchestra Club – It’s time to hone your string skills. Join Mr. Marrs Tuesdays from 8:00 to 8:40 in the orchestra room.

Drama Club – Do your friends and family complain about you being too dramatic? Put all of that drama to good use in the little theatre on Mondays from 3:30 to 5:00.

Photo Club – Are you constantly taking pictures of things? Then why not try to further your skills in photography and editing Mondays right after school in Mrs. Olstad’s room (403)?

Math Club – If you are you a math nerd or you just want to improve your skills, come talk to Mr. Collingwood in room 321 to discuss the days they’ll be working.

Cougars Go East Club – Cougars, we are planning a trip to Washington DC and NYC over Spring Break. Tax credit donations will be able to be used, so it will be virtually free.  Want to get involved? Come talk to Ms. Lange in room 207 to discuss details.

Book Club – Do you love reading and discussing literature? Then come on down to the library and check out the Book Club. They meet in the library on Fridays for first lunch and Thursdays for second.

If you have information regarding any clubs that weren’t mentioned, contact The Paper Cut at [email protected] and we will be sure to add them to the list.
