Shakira and Jennifer Lopez are performing in the Super Bowl Half-Time-Show! Yes, you read that right. And if you’re not a big fan, did you even have a childhood?

J Lo was asked if she would be part of the 2020 Super Bowl Half-Time show during an interview for TODAY with Hoda Kotb. “I don’t know. I don’t yet, we will see,” Lopez, who has promoted the NFL’s current 100th season on social media, replied while laughing. J Lo went on to mention how much she’d love to do it, and that it’d be an honor.

Last year Maroon 5, Travis Scott, and Big Boy performed in the show. In previous years other famous artists such as Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Marrs, and Beyoncé have performed. “Ever since I saw Diana Ross fly off into the sky at the Half-Time Show, I dreamed of performing at the Super Bowl, and now it’s made even more special not only because it’s the NFL’s 100th anniversary, but also because I am performing with a fellow Latina. I can’t wait to show what us girls can do on the world’s biggest stage,” remarked Lopez. “I’m so honored to be taking on one of the world’s biggest stages in the company of a fellow female artist to represent Latinos and Latinas from the U.S. and all over the world — and to top it off, on my birthday!” said Shakira. “This is a true American dream and we are going to bring the show of a lifetime!”
