Justin Bieber announced that he is canceling the remaining of his Justice World Tour due to health complications.   The twenty-eight-year-old singer has been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.

Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is a virus that stems from chicken pox. It can produce shingles, and if it travels to the face, it can cause facial paralysis. Bieber has been dealing with the struggles of this illness, which he announced on June 11, and has decided to pause his tour to take care of his health.

He took time off and then went back to tour in July, and that proved to him and his doctors that he couldn’t just jump back into concert mode.  After one of his performances, Bieber went to Instagram to let his fans know how he felt during his performance, the amount of exhaustion he felt, and how he didn’t feel good in general.  “I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me. This past weekend I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I needed to make my health a priority right now.” With that, he made the decision to let his fans know that he was going to cancel the remaining of his tour.

After having health complications of her own, Hailey Bieber believes that both her and Justin’s struggles are what bring them even closer.  Taking care of each other has shown both of them what marriage is like, and how it won’t always be easy.   Since starting to have time on his hands, he has been spending time with Hailey, his family, and his friends.  He hopes to be back on tour sometime soon, but for now, he is focused on getting better and making sure he will be healthy enough to perform in the future.
