Many of us are familiar with Doja Cat and her work. She is well known for her music, especially her songs Say So, MOOO, Kiss Me More, and many others. But lately, she has been getting a relatively large amount of hate because of her new alternative style contrasted to her previous one and reacting openly to people complaining about it. AKA, several right-wing Christians are throwing hissy fits and having mental breakdowns all because she decided to stick two tiny horns on her head…because how dare she do something that is against a specific belief that no not everyone agrees with…DESPICABLE. Well, today this article is going to talk about that because it’s so ridiculous it makes many people chuckle. So without further ado, let’s begin.

It all technically started when she dressed in an all red-dress with jewelry incrusted ON HER SKIN (god knows how itchy that was) for Paris fashion week in January, which some people found “DeMoNiC” (apparently). Only egged on when she decided to post some weird photos on her Instagram (her new tattoos), and an entire community basically had a panic attack when her new album Scarlet was released, as well as the music video for Demons. Because…how dare she have a different aesthetic and belief??   Blasphemy, she should be burned at the stake… yeah.

Sarcasm aside, this is hands down the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen people complain about, probably ever.  Now it’s fine to not like her aesthetic – that’s cool – everyone has their own opinion, especially if the reason why you got into her in the first place was her original one. But saying she’s “sold her soul to the devil” is a little much. Not everyone believes in God guys.  You can put your pitchforks down and actually use your brain and realize religion is subjective. It’s not even like Doja is an amazing person either, she has done some not-okay stuff in the past. It’s just the fact that THIS is what you all focus on – that’s ignorant. Priorities, please.
