The Trumps’ COVID-19 Diagnoses
October 7, 2020
Donald Trump is showing mild COVID-19 symptoms, including a low fever and cough. The White House physician says Trump “remains fatigued but in good spirits” after a positive COVID-19 test. He was in Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for three days and was just discharged Monday afternoon.
The First Lady also tested positive for coronavirus, but says she doesn’t plan to leave the White House while sick.

On October 6, he downplayed the threat of coronavirus, tweeting “many people every year, sometimes over 100,000, and despite the Vaccine, die from the Flu,” and claiming COVID-19 was “in most populations far less lethal!!!”, a false claim. Few people are hospitalized after getting the flu. Most are from testing positive for coronavirus.
Donald Trump, Melania Trump, Hope Hicks, and 11 more in his circle have tested positive for COVID-19.
