This I Believe: Physics is the Key to our World

This+I+Believe%3A+Physics+is+the+Key+to+our+World

Harry Barsiwal, a sophomore at Sahuaro, was inspired to write about physics because he is deeply captivated by the world of science and all it has to offer him. He aspires to go into the scientific field somewhere, but he has not decided yet. Right now, his options include cybersecurity analysis, medical physics, or space science.

“When you change the way, you look at things, the things you look at change” – Max Planck. When scientists change how they see or even approach a problem it can lead to new discoveries. It describes how a unique perspective can open a better understanding of the physical world. Physics is the key to our world. Without physics, the technology we have today would not exist.

I am fascinated with physics because it is remarkably interesting to learn new things about our world and all the possibilities it has. When I was watching the show called The Flash for the first time the way the show represented science was very fascinating such as black holes, the speed of light, and time travel which sparked my interest even more in real physics. Although I knew that the show was fictional it still got me very curious about the actual scientific phenomena. After that, I wanted to know what lies in the faraway interstellar. This interest even grew stronger during my visit to Griffith Observatory in LA where I learned new things about our world.

The show’s depth in the speed of light made me more fascinated by the huge length of the cosmos. The Time Travel on the screen felt so real that it pulled me into its mysterious depths. At the Griffith Observatory, each representation elaborated things about the universe, and I learned about things that I never knew before like how the moon affects the tidal waves here on earth based on where the moon’s gravitational pull causes it to move on both sides closest to the moon. That day was one of the best days because I got a chance to learn new things based on my interests.

My love for physics still affects my life. By being influenced by the show, I got to explore scientific concepts like black holes and space. That is why science-related movies are my favorite. I also took courses related to Physics which has deepened my understanding of science from the course I understood more about black holes and space itself and earned certificates confirming my commitment to uncover the mysteries that lie in the far away interstellar. So, I believe that TV shows can spark someone’s interest.

Physics is not just used in labs or in books; it is used everywhere. It makes our heater work, helps the planes fly, and the most fascinating thing is that it teaches us more about space. Physics solves the mysteries of the speed of light, black holes, and the distances between the moon and the earth. Physics is life because it tells us more about our universe and drives the innovations that shape our world. It is the cool science that powers our world. Without brilliant scientists in our world there would be lack of understanding about the forces that shape our Universe, from working with laws of motion to working with subatomic particles and all the theories that helped our understanding of our world would have never happened.
