Good Morning Cougars and Happy Rodeo Break week…

Congrats to our boys soccer and boys basketball teams on a wonderful season.  You guys made us all very proud.  Good luck to our girls soccer team as they travel to Flagstaff today for their quarterfinal game tomorrow vs. Flagstaff High School.  The semi final game will be on Saturday. Congrats to girls soccer Junior goalkeeper Cassidy Morrow who broke the career shutout record on Saturday with the 2-0 victory over Douglas.  Cassidy has 35 shutouts for her career. Good luck to our girls basketball team as they take the court on Wednesday at 7pm vs. Moon Valley High School at Sahuaro.  Please come out and support the lady Cougars. If the win, they will play on Saturday at Sahuaro at 7pm.   Out baseball team will scrimmage on Tuesday at 4pm vs. Tanque Verde at Sahuaro and our Softball team will travel to Rincon on Saturday morning for a 10am scrimmage.

Kyle Hubbuch, one of our varsity basketball players, is ranked as one of the 16th best high school 3-point shooters in the United States. He has been selected to compete in the American Family Insurance #DreamFearlessly Fan Vote. Vote for Kyle to be a part of this opportunity to compete in the 2020 American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championship! Choose from 16 of the top high school dunkers, boy’s 3-point shooters and girl’s 3-point shooters. Watch the winners compete on CBS during Final Four weekend in Atlanta on April 5 at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Attention all juniors: ACT testing will be done on March 24th at Sahuaro. There will be biweekly ACT prep sessions held in the career center starting next Monday. Come by the counseling office for the schedule!

Don’t forget to donate your money to the Leukemia Lymphoma and Cancer Society. Collection boxes will be in your second period class, and the homeroom that raises the most money will win Krispy Kreme donuts. The Penny Drive ends TODAY. Donate towards the good cause!
