Cougar Flash – Congrats to all Fall Sports Participants.  Thanks for your efforts and hard work to make Sahuaro such a great school.

Congrats to our Varsity Football team for its win against Catalina Foothills on Senior Night.   Also congratulations on their #1 seeding heading into the State Playoffs.  Come on out this Friday and watch your Cougars against Glendale High School.  Student tickets are $5.00 and Adult tickets are $10.00. We will have tickets for pre-sale at lunch on Thursday and Friday. If you prefer, you can go online and order tickets at: https://gofan.co/app/events/71885.  There is a small fee to do this.

Congrats to our band for getting 1st place in the Walden Grove “March the Grove Tournament”, the awards are as follows:

Congrats on being the 6th seed in State out of 32 bands and good luck this weekend in the Championships at Buckeye.  Our band is amazing.

Open workouts for boys tennis will begin next Thursday, November 14th.  Open workouts will be on the upper courts each Tuesday and Thursday after that.  New players are welcome.  If you have any questions, please stop by Mr. Lawwill’s room 133.

Good luck to our cheer team as they perform in the State competition this Saturday in Phoenix.

Good luck to our Cross Country athletes as they compete in Sectionals this Wednesday.

Any girls interested in playing girls tennis should meet on the tennis courts on Wednesday, November 13 at 2:30 pm.  We will meet every Monday and Wednesday for pre-season practices. Again, all girls tennis players come out on Wednesday, November 13.  Yes, we will meet every Monday and Wednesday, after school at the tennis courts.

Attention Seniors:  We need you to verify how your name is going to appear on your DIPLOMA….Stop by the Attendance Office and check out the lists of Senior Names on the Counter. If you find your name spelled wrong or you have changed your name, let Ms. Patty know so she can order your Diploma with the correct Name.  Do This ASAP Cougars!

Attention ALL Students:  1st Quarter Honor Roll is up!  Come by and see if you made it to List of 3.25 GPA or better!

The Results are in a display case in front of the Attendance Office.  If your name is NOT on it this time, then make it a GOAL of yours to get your name on this Honor Roll List! – Your Registrar Ms. Patty.

Please welcome Jackie Krieg as our new Librarian! Are you a Junior or a Senior in good academic standing and looking for a quiet place to study? Come to the library.  On the day or morning before conference days, sign-up and get a pass from Mrs. Krieg.

The library will also be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday to students that have first lunch and Tuesday and Thursday for students that have second lunch.

Clubs/Student Council

The Bahama’s Hurricane Relief fundraiser will be going on for one more week and that you can still donate to your homeroom donation box. The class that donates the most wins a traditional Bohemian dessert.

Students, if you have purchased a sports pass you can go to the finance office and                                              have it printed on your ID.

If you have lost or found an item, please take it to the finance office. This is where all lost and found things should be taken.
