Senior year can be stressful but to make things easier for you all to becoming a successful senior, let’s keep up-to-date with your scholarship opportunities, upcoming college fairs and events, deadlines and many more!

August-September- During this period, make sure you’re researching the colleges you’re interested in. At this time, begin applying to schools. If you haven’t already, make sure to register for the ACT/SAT if you haven’t already taken it. If you’re worried about taking the ACT/SAT’s, get the practice.

October-February- Complete the FASFA. This offers money in the forms of loans or free money. This sees how much federal aid you’re qualified for. When you fill it out, that doesn’t mean you need to take any loans. Also, search for scholarships to ease the costs for your college. Review your offers with your family or counselor to help narrow your choices and make the decisions!

October 15th: Senior photo deadline! If you haven’t got your senior picture taken yet… don’t wait! If you still need a picture call Silhouette Photography at 520-886-1710.

March-May: During this time, you all will be officially at the end! Commit to the choices that are the BEST for YOU! Don’t just double but….triple check that you’ve done everything you’ve needed to. Once you’ve GRADUATED, meet and get in contact with your college advisors for information about registration, accepting/declining financial aid, and university portals for your next best years to come! Good luck seniors! Remember try to keep up with the deadlines and have the best last year yet!
