With only one remaining asset, a small town called Schitt’s Creek, this once-wealthy couple must give up life as they know it. With six complete seasons, reviewers still found themselves finishing in no time, as they were completely hooked.

  • The Netflix series ‘Ratched’ follows a young nurse at a mental institution who becomes jaded and bitter before turning into a full-fledged monster to her patients. This show keeps the audience intrigued with its plot filled with tension and mystery that kept viewers wanting more, resulting in a 7.3/10 rating from IMDb and a possible second season.

  • If you gravitate more towards cartoons, Netflix series ‘Big Mouth,’ rated 8/10 on IMDb, could be something for you to binge. The American coming-of-age adult animated sitcom created by Family Guy writer Andrew Goldberg follows the main characters’ different journeys through puberty.

  • The mystery/drama series ‘Lucifer’ follows one Lucifer Morningstar, the original fallen angel, who has become dissatisfied with his life in Hell. After abandoning his throne and retiring to Los Angeles, Lucifer indulges in his favorite things (women, wine and song). Scoring an 8.2/10 on IMDb, this show’s plot will have you down 5 bags of chips by the time you’re finished.

  • Netflix original ‘The Queen’s Gambit,’ released on October 23rd is set during the Cold War era, following the life of orphaned chess prodigy Beth Harmon who struggles with addiction in a quest to become the greatest chess player in the world. This historical drama’s storyline will keep you watching for hours. Reviewers described this show as “beautifully acted and compelling.”

  • In the post-World War II Hollywood, aspiring actors and filmmakers will do almost anything to make their showbiz dreams come true, and when they do, their film challenges the close-minded world outside of Hollywood. Despite the success ‘Hollywood’ has brought Netflix, it will not be returning for a second season, meaning you can binge with no long term commitment!

Since Coronavirus made her unwanted debut in America, we have all found ourselves finishing movie after movie and season after season, not to mention the amount of junk food I think we have all had our fair share of. I can assure you that I’ve watched or at least tried to watch every show included here. Here’s to more bingeing despite what hypocritical health professionals say!
