Senior Q & A With Chad Davis

Senior Q & A With Chad Davis

Giselle Enriquez, Editor-In-Chief

Chad Davis is currently a senior at Sahuaro High. He does not consider himself an entitled American. He works hard for everything he currently has: car, phone, etc. He currently holds a job at Grandma Tony’s Pizza. Chad really enjoys his physics class with Mr. Davis. In his free time, he used to hang out with his friend that he preferred remain anonymous, but their schedules don’t line up anymore so he spends his time messaging people and pretty much finding that perfect meme.

What has been your best memory at Sahuaro?

Best memory, honestly it was my junior year assembly. Oh man, well that junior assembly was very lively. It really showed how much each student cared about each other. Especially the prom dress cutting, that was lit.

Name one of your favorite teachers at Sahuaro, and why?

Mr. Marrs, because he ‘s pretty great. You ever see a teacher who works harder than what their pay grade is worth? No, no is the answer. Except him. He works his arse off and it’s great. He’s my favorite.

What are your plans after high school?

Go to Pima, transfer credits to the University of Arizona, and major in Optics.

What are three fun facts about you?

I have blue eyes, I play the violin, and I am really good at Tetris.

What’s your motto in life?

If you see it, you can reach it.

Name three of your idols/ icons.

I don’t follow others, I only need to believe what I want to do.

If you could go back and change one thing about your high school career, what would it be?

I screwed up my freshman year, so getting that done the right way would be something I would do over.

Give your freshman-self advice in ten words or less.

Don’t act like a goofball! Nobody likes that.

Where do you see yourself in 15 years?

I see myself being what we call, well off.

What do you feel has been/will be your legacy left here at Sahuaro?

My legacy left here, well I lead a good example on how to behave in class.

What’s the worst/most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you at Sahuaro?

So during sophomore year, someone released a stink bomb in the lower 200, so of course my posse happened to be walking around that area and we got called to the office. We got called out by the class as well, ha!
