Q: What was your favorite memory of Sahuaro?

A: The pep rallies because everyone would get together.

Q: What do you plan to do after high school?

A: I’ve committed to the Air Force, where I plan to be a pilot.

Q: What’s something that you wish you did in high school that you didn’t get to do?

A: I wish we had a Covid-free senior year, the whole year was online or social distanced.

Q: Who was your favorite teacher at Sahuaro?

A: The librarian Mrs. Krieg because I was her library aide and she was really sweet. If I ever needed help with homework or to talk, she was always happy to help.

Q: Are there any classes that you wish you took during high school that you didn’t get to?

A: No, I was satisfied with all my classes. Especially art and all my aide classes.

Q: Since you didn’t get to Sahuaro until the middle of your junior year, was it hard to make friends when you first got here?

A: No because you just came up to me and told me I was ugly, and we’ve been best friends ever since.

Q: Since you took both art and ceramics class, do you plan to continue making art?

A: I’ll continue being creative in everyday things, but maybe not the exact art we learned.

Q: Are there any classes that you recommend other students take? Whether it’s an easy A or you just found the content useful.

A: I recommend them to take ceramics because you create a lot of projects and it’s fun to always make something new.
