Q: Who are you?

A: I’m Rheana Bartlett, I’m a Freshman here at Sahuaro High. I’m currently 14 turning 15 very soon. I was born in 2006 on the 27th of September. I mainly play 2 sports.

Q: Where are you from?

A: I was originally born in Fort Collins Colorado. The same hospital and town that my father was born in. I moved to Arizona when I was turning 3, I’ve been living here since 2009.

Q: What sports do you play?

A: Since I can remember I’ve played soccer my whole life, I also play softball. I’m planning on trying out for the soccer team in November and in the Spring for softball at Sahuaro High. My positions in soccer are everywhere, including the goalkeeper, but I recently have been focusing on in-field activity, which is mostly not the goalkeeper. My positions in softball are everywhere in the outfield, shortstop, and second baseman in the infield, and finally pitcher.

Q: Any hobbies or special interests?

A: I’ve done photography since I was 7. I love reading horror and murder mysteries. I also have an interest in art, which includes painting, drawing, and free-hand sketching. I enjoy playing volleyball, I wouldn’t want to be on a team though.

Q: Any current goals/plans for the future?

A: I plan on applying to 4 different colleges. One of my goals for the 2021-2022 school year is to keep A’s and B’s for the rest of the year. My dream job is to be a professional photographer, mainly landscapes and p0rtraits, and family events along with sports events. I would like to start my own little photography business, helping young photographers achieve their dreams! I would like to live near the coastline in California, and visit my family whenever I can.

Q: Extra Facts

A: When I was born, my nose was smashed against the side of my face. My father was the first one to hold me, even before my mother. My grandfather bought a little stuffed panda to measure my growth throughout my baby years. I weighed almost 9 lbs, same as my younger sister, the middle child weighed 10 lbs, my mom jokes around calling her a sack of potatoes.
