If Donald Trump gets re-elected for a second term, what will happen? Trump has messed up quite a bit. He was impeached and was cleared by the Senate, but if he was questioned, who’s to say it won’t happen again? Who’s to say there weren’t other people meddling in the trial, making sure he was cleared? Who is saying Trump couldn’t do worse? His VP has targeted the LGBTQIA+ community by fighting against LGBT rights. This is evident because Pence rose in support of a constitutional amendment that would have defined marriage as between a man and a woman. Citing a Harvard researcher, Pence said in his speech, “societal collapse was always brought about following an advent of the deterioration of marriage and family.”

This has been evident for quite a while. According to Mary Trump, one of Donald Trump’s nieces, he has also used racial slurs, such as the n-word. He says and does racist and sexist things, and even allegedly inappropriately touches his daughter.  He is not a good leader, and we need a better one. Donald Trump needs to stay away from politics. If he comes back, there will be dire consequences. Trump will continue on this path, tearing families apart at the border by separating children from parents, and failing our nation time and again, making the United States a leader in deaths due to COVID-19.  He himself has refused to wear a mask, calling the virus a “hoax”. He needs to step down. He has so much power; people are going to get hurt if he continues his presidency.
