  • My dogs Flower and Boo are the loves of my life. I’ve spent every day with them since March of last year and I know it’ll be bad when I have to go back to school, but they’re my BFFs. I do basically everything with them now and I couldn’t imagine spending 2020 without them.

  • Finding the bubble tea place Ni Hao Tea is probably my greatest discovery. I usually order brown sugar milk with double boba and it sends me to heaven every time. Since I had to make this slideshow I went and got some and earned a free tea next time, thanks Ms. Lange!

  • A big struggle that comes with being a teenager is acne. The products pictured save me from constantly having a dozen red bumps on my face, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

  • While being home all day, I made the decision to conquer the beast of re-watching all seventeen seasons of Grey’s Anatomy. Thanks to the Google extension Teleparty, I’m not doing it alone! Every night to unwind my friend and I log on to watch a few episodes of McDreamy and McSteamy saving lives.

  • Before Corona, my best friend and I got tickets to see our favorite band for two days. A lot of people would assume it makes me sad because of the show’s postponements, and it does. But not more than it makes me happy to know I have something to look forward to and they are honestly my life support at this point.

  • This shelf in my room is a part of my album collection along with my light stick you’re supposed to use at the concert previously mentioned. I know they say money can’t buy you happiness, but just looking at this shelf releases dopamine. It’s pleasing to look at and I enjoy looking through them (they come with photobooks) when I’m bored.

  • After I finish my last class of the day I’ve been going on walks with my dogs. The weather is beautiful right now and it feels good to get out of the house, be out in the sun, and “touch some grass” as the kids are saying.

  • This plant has been with me for all of 2020 and is usually in front of my bathroom sink. I love seeing it grow over time and the fact that I haven’t killed it yet makes me think of it like my own child. Every morning I start my day by brushing my teeth and admiring my cute plant, growing despite the mess outside.

  • Spotify has become my best friend in the last year, I am constantly using it. At this point even if I go to the bathroom, I need to be listening to music. This easily reflects because according to Spotify I listened to 60,077 minutes of music last year. My current favorite songs are MAGO by Gfriend, Tipsy by Chloe and Halle, and Vibez by Zayn.

  • This is a picture framed on my nightstand, the frame has the message of “life goes on” written on it. The picture in the frame was painted by Yoongi, who went live a series of times during the beginning of quarantine while painting it. I really looked forward to those lives when the world came crashing down in March and April, it was the only consistent thing I could count on happening. The phrase “life goes on” with that picture offers me a lot of comfort every day when I look at it in my room.
