Recently, cropped puffer vests have come into style. This trend sprouted from Tiktok and has been labeled as a “Fall 2023 must-have piece!” This style of outerwear has commonly been paired with a full bodysuit or even over crewnecks and hoodies.

Every year without fail, Uggs releases a new style that captures social media users. But this year by far, Uggs are more popular. Due to the internet hype on the Ugg Minis and the Ugg Tasmans, stores have been sold out of the two styles since late October.

In 2023, fashion has seemed to greatly spread. Due to the influence of social media, more and more people are taking part in these trends. People are able to create their own style as they build their wardrobe.

Out with the Daisy Dukes and in with the jorts! In the summer of 2023 jorts blew up! Just as skinny jeans have been replaced by baggy jeans, slim fitting shorts have been replaced by baggy shorts. But what makes these shorts special is their length, which is typically right above the knee or even longer.

Earlier this year, in February, MSCHF dropped these huge boots that resemble the anime character Astro Boy. These shoes immediately took the internet by storm. Within days you could see people trying to style these shoes, and many failed miserably.

Definitely one of my favorite trends from this year is the use of bows and ribbons! What people (mainly women) are doing is accessorizing with bows and ribbons to add a dainty feminine touch to their outfits. This trend is very cute and coquettish.

More recently, men’s fashion has discovered the benefits of slightly cropping shirts. What this does is give a different vibe to the fit and helps with the outfit’s proportions. It helps accentuate the waist and over all looks amazing!

In 2023 the Adidas Samba made a come back! These shoes are much more affordable most Nike shoes and provide more freedom when it comes to styling. These shoes are definitely timeless and will be staying much longer than 2023.

Headphones being used as an accessory has been a thing since the early 2000s. But what was different this year was that the headphones are oversized. This trend is not only functional but also very fashionable.

The pant of choice for 2023 is low-rise baggy jeans. The slouchy look of the pants provide comfort and create a unique silhouette. This super cute style is also very timeless, and it looks like they will be around a lot longer that 2023!
